INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & SAFETY INFORMATION
HOW TO USE THE SPRAYS
Our sprays are made with pure essential oils, a solubiliser, a preservative and spring water. It is important to remember that while essential oils may be a natural ingredient, they are powerful and are made up of chemical constituents. Some of these chemical constituents have to be listed on the product by law as they can be allergens to some people. They are listed on our Ingredients page under the name of the spray. In the interests of traceability, the other ingredients we use and the details of the manufacturers we purchase them from can be found at the end of this page.
Using the Sprays
You may have seen Amanda using the sprays in her videos, she sprays them into her hands and inhales the aroma, this is a good way to start. Please wash your hands after using your sprays.
The other way to use them is to spray over your head and allow the mist to cascade down over your aura. It is important to close your eyes first then use just a couple of pumps of the atomiser. This is all that is needed, especially if you are new to the sprays (when caution should be used). You can also spray around your shoulders or spray in front of you and walk through the mist (eyes closed), as some do when applying perfume.
You can also use them without spraying which is explained in more detail below.
DO NOT INGEST! Obviously the sprays are for EXTERNAL use only.
The sprays are designed to be used only in the Aura and NOT on the skin. The oils are well diluted in water so only small amounts of essential oils will ever come into contact with the skin. It is nevertheless sensible to be cautious when using each spray for the first time. Just test a little to start with and then wait a few hours to check there are no adverse reactions. This is especially important if you have sensitive skin or any health issues, particularly respiratory problems like asthma, COPD etc.
Avoid the eyes/face/mucous membranes. NEVER SPRAY INTO THE FACE/EYES. CLOSE EYES AND MOUTH BEFORE SPRAYING.
IF ANY SPRAY GETS INTO THE EYES PLEASE FLUSH WELL WITH WATER OR A STERILE SALINE SOLUTION. GENTLY POUR THE WATER OR SALINE OVER THE EYEBALL. USE A GLASS OR SMALL JUG OF WATER HELD AGAINST YOUR EYE. REFILL THE GLASS OR JUG TO CONTINUE FLUSHING FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES.
If the symptoms persist, consult a healthcare professional.
You may want to keep the spray clear of delicate fabrics such as silk, satin etc. anything that may stain and is not easily washed.
Wash your hands thoroughly after using your sprays .
EPILEPSY
Please note that epileptics should avoid FENNEL, HYSSOP and SAGE essential oils (The Archangel Gabriel spray contains Fennel, Archangel Michael, Meta-Pirate and White Sage sprays contain Hyssop, the White Sage spray contains Sage). Our oils are very well diluted in water and are unlikely to case any issues but we feel that it is still sensible to avoid these sprays if you are epileptic.
CHILDREN
We do not recommend use of the sprays for children under the age of 7 except for the children's sprays and we do not recommend spraying these at all on children under 5. Again you can use the energy without spraying, ideal for babies and toddlers. Place the bottle near their bed when they are sleeping BUT KEEP OUT OF REACH.
PREGNANCY
We cannot recommend using the sprays during pregnancy.
SENSITIVE SKIN
Any oil can cause irritation in some individuals but the following oils in particular should be used cautiously to start with if you have sensitive skin: Pine, Black Pepper, Basil, Sweet Orange, Peppermint, Melissa, Lemongrass, Roman Chamomile, Lemon, Ginger, Geranium, Eucalyptus, Benzoin & Cinnamon - if you have sensitive skin we recommend that you do a PATCH TEST first by putting a very small amount on the inside of your elbow. If there is no reaction after 24 hours it should be fine to use the spray.
The oils used in each spray can be found at the end of the product information for each spray.
Also please note that citrus oils should not be applied to the skin before going out into sunshine as there is a possibility of sensitisation and pigmentation. As mentioned above, very little, if any, of the spray should get onto your skin anyway and, as the oils are well diluted too, this risk is extremely low. However we are obliged to make you aware of it.
ENERGY SENSITIVITY
The sprays are energy, and very powerful. If you know you are very sensitive to energy please use them sparingly to start with and gradually increase your exposure. Some extremely sensitive people have to start with just holding the sprays - the energy still works even without spraying. This is also a good way to use them with very young children and during pregnancy too, just leave the bottle nearby, safely out of reach of children of course.
ANIMALS
We do not recommend using the sprays around animals. A lot of essential oils are toxic to Cats in particular, dogs also. We are not able to give advice on using them around any animal. If you do feel your pet might benefit from using a spray you could use the indirect method mentioned above and just place the spray near their bed for instance, obviously ensuring that the bottle is safely out of their reach. Animals too are very sensitive to energy, so again start off with very short periods if you are going to try this. But please DO NOT spray around them.
DISPOSAL INFORMATION
When the spray is empty, rinse and place glass bottle in recycling and recycle plastic atomiser pump.
BEST BEFORE END DATE/BATCH NUMBERS
All our sprays are batch numbered and given a best before end date of 18 months. They are best to use within 12 months of opening. Unopened they can remain fresh for up to 30 months (according to our laboratory testing).
We recommend you do not exceed the Best Before End date.
IMPROPER USE
The following uses of the spray are not recommended and can result in injury or harm:
Do not drink
Do not get in eyes or mouth
Avoid contact with skin, always wash hands after using and keep fingers away from eyes until you have.
Keep away from fabrics, clothing, furniture etc as oils can stain.
Don't spray in a confined space, such as an aircraft or car etc - other passengers may be allergic or have sensitivities.
If spilled on the floor, wipe up immediately as there is a danger of slipping.
Keep away from pets - many essential oils are toxic to animals.
If you have any other questions about the sprays please contact Tracy at amandaellisorders@gmail.com.
