Below are some of the common questions we receive, please see if any  answer your question before contacting us!

Why have I received empty glass spray bottles and plastic bottles with my product in them?

During the coldest winter months, particular in Canada and parts of the US and Europe, sprays can freeze in transit and this causes the glass bottles to break.  To combat this we now decant the sprays into PET free acrylic bottles for you to decant on arrival.  If you live in a particularly cold area where temperatures regularly stay below freezing, please ask for your order in the PET free bottles at no extra charge.

When will my parcel arrive? 

We try to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receipt. In busy times this may take a little longer but we will always notify you by email if there is going to be a significant delay. As a rough guide, parcels sent within the UK should arrive within 5 days of placing your order, if not please get in touch. Europe: please allow at least 14 days. Rest of the World: please allow 28 days.

Import Taxes

Please note that if you live outside of the UK your order may attract import taxes/customs duty etc. in accordance with your particular country's regulations.  We strongly suggest you check what these charges/regulations are before placing an order. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. Note: Since Brexit on 1 January 2021 these import taxes also apply to countries in the EU.

How many sprays can you fit in one parcel?

International orders are no longer limited to 12 sprays/2 kilos!  You can now order up to 5 kilos using the website.  Anything over that then please contact us first to check what we can send to your area.  

How soon will you send my order?

As soon as we possibly can! Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for any major updates and  your emails. Or you can sign up for our newsletter.

Will I get an order confirmation?

Yes. You will receive an email and you can also get text updates if you like. Be sure to check your spam, our emails are sent direct from Shopify. Please double check your email address and phone number for typos. It is surprising how many people make typos in their email address!  

Can I cancel or amend my order? 

Yes. If you let us know before we have dispatched it. Contact us at amandaellisorders@gmail.com as soon as possible. Please include your order number.

Can I email/telephone you with my order?

We don’t have the facilities to take telephone orders/payments. All orders must go through the web shop.

Where do you ship to?

We ship all over the world with the notable exceptions of South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Austria. Some countries have restrictions on the import of essential oils or prohibitions on the import of religious items. We recommend checking the national import laws of your country before purchasing.

I signed up for the newsletter but I haven't received it?

Firstly, check your spam folder or if not, you have probably mistyped your email address when signing up, we can check this for you if you contact us. If you sign up after we have sent the newsletter then you won't get it until the next month but if you contact us then we can send it to you.

I don't know what spray to choose can you help me?

You can find some information written by Amanda on our homepage about choosing a spray. If you are unsure which spray to choose, close your eyes for a moment and ask Archangel Metatron.

What is your returns policy?

We don’t accept returns unless there is something wrong with the spray. If your order arrives damaged then please get in touch at amandaellisorders@gmail.com and let us know. We don’t expect you to return damaged items to us but please take photographs if possible as this will assist us when making a claim.  

Is Amanda doing any workshops this year?

Keep an eye on the Newsletter, Website and Facebook & Instagram pages as they will be advertised there. The Newsletter always gets the most up to date and exclusive news so do sign up for that if you haven't already.

Can I get a reading with Amanda?

Amanda does not give personal readings and if you are contacted by someone claiming to be Amanda and offering you a reading for money it is a SCAM.

How do I get in touch with Amanda, I have an interesting story to share with her?

Amanda regrets that she cannot personally reply to emails but there are opportunities to comment on YouTube videos or Facebook and Instagram posts.  This is where Amanda is most likely to read and appreciate your stories.

How do I store the sprays?

In a cool place, out of direct sunlight and away from electrical appliances. Please note that the sprays have a best before end date 12 months from opening.

Are the sprays safe to use in pregnancy/medical conditions?

If you have any medical conditions we strongly recommend you consult a healthcare professional before using the sprays. Legally we cannot recommend that the sprays are used in pregnancy.

Gifts for Amanda - very important - please read the following if you wish to send a gift

Amanda is very appreciative of the many gifts, cards etc that she is sent. However, if you live outside the UK Amanda will have to pay customs duty on gifts sent. This can be quite a substantial sum, depending on the value of the gift, and must be paid by her before delivery and before she even knows what the gift is. 

Also please note that as the address to send Amanda a gift is a PO Box, a lot of couriers do not accept these.  In particular, in the UK, Parcel Force do not.  So you will also need to check that the courier/service your gift is handed over to in the UK do accept delivery to PO Boxes. If they don't, then it is a very onerous business for Amanda to try and get hold of the gift.

Due to the number Amanda is receiving now because of your generosity, we ask that if you do want to send a gift, you must also be willing to cover the cost of the import charges. When we know what they are we can invoice you. If the charges aren't paid the parcel will not be claimed and will be returned to sender. We are really sorry to have to do this but the sums involved are really quite substantial now.

Please see information below from HM Customs regarding gifts:

Do I have to pay VAT on a gift from abroad?

  • Gifts over £39 are liable to Import VAT. Customs Duty also becomes payable if the value of the goods is over £135. If you purchase something from outside of the UK to give as a gift to a relative or friend, whether or not it is addressed to that person, it will not be treated as a gift.

Gifts under the value of £39 are usually not charged but it is important you complete the customs label fully, giving a full description of the contents, saying they are a "GIFT" and note the value on here too.

Amanda also gets sent items from people hoping she will endorse or advertise something in return. Amanda is really sorry she is not able to do this.
