Tracy here.  My apologies that it has been so long since the last blog.  We have tended to focus more on the newsletter lately so the blog has got a bit neglected!  If you haven't already signed up to the newsletter please consider doing so as it really is the most up to date and effective way to reach you all with any news about new products, videos, upcoming events and much more.  It's easy to sign up, just head to the home page of the website, scroll to the bottom and click on "subscribe to newsletter" then enter your email address. So what's new in ACC land?  Well, as you can see from the photo, we wanted to let you know that we have a very, very limited edition of a new giftbox for you. We have called it the Lucky Dip Gift Box because although each box is much the same, some boxes have the mini Self Care spray and some contain the mini Sweet Dreams spray.  We are not able to give you a choice I'm afraid, that's where the lucky dip bit comes in!  This is what's inside each box:

Some beautiful Tree of Life incense cones (complete with a holder attached) - this Tree of Life incense range is really special, there are 4 different scents, Jasmine, Asian Spice, Sandalwood and Patchouli and they're ALL lovely. 

The box also contains a gorgeous, orange, clove and cinnamon essential oils, soya wax candle in a glass jar (30 cl).

Some specially made bath salts, scented with rose and lavender essential oils.  They are a mix of epsom salts, dead sea salt, himalayan pink salt, dried rose petals and lavender flowers - divine!  Hand made by us here in Spray HQ and energised on the mandala with the sprays.  A bath with a boost you might say!

There is a Shiva Lingam crystal in an organza bag - complete with description of what these amazing stones can do for you.  

An affirmation card, made of sustainable bamboo wood, it is credit card sized, printed with a rainbow coloured flower of life on one side and an affirmation to remind you to take care of yourself on the other. 

Finally, we have a selection of our most popular teabags, again these are a lucky dip but you will get a generous selection taken from Love, Calm, Clarity, Night time etc. 

The boxes are tied up with lovely rainbow coloured raffia to which we attach a special, tiny hand made crystal angel (the crystal is either yellow calcite or pink agate).

The boxes make a lovely gift for someone or just keep it for your lovely self!  Why not, you're worth it!  Unfortunately we only have 15 for sale so you will need to be quick. You may also have seen our new range of incense and burners.  We have recently become very enamoured of backflow incense burners.  We LOVE them here at Spray HQ and I know Amanda is a big fan too. Check out this beautiful meditating Buddha, there are 2 options, one in bronze resin and one in bright colours.  You can see details here:


Aren't they gorgeous?  And with the smoke cascading down from the top into the pool below, you get a really stunning effect.  We have a good selection of backflow cones now too.  You must use the backflow cones as ordinary incense cones won't produce the effect.  Here is a selection of some of the other holders and burners we have:

Within the next few days we will be bringing you a mini Joy spray and a mini Pink Lotus too.  Plans are afoot for minis in the Higher Self, the Ancestral Healing, the Crimson chakra spray, Archangel Jophiel, Sunrise New Dawn and Fear Fighter too.  We will also be able to do a mini Children's spray set.  The mini sprays have proved really popular so we are really excited about this.

New Formulation for the sprays

 In the last blog I mentioned that the formula for the sprays was changing.  We are now using those new formulas.  We have also started to use QR codes on the back of our bottles instead of listing all the ingredients there.  If you don't have a QR scanner you can download one onto your phone for free (you can also access the page in the normal way using the link below).

which is where you can find the ingredients used in each spray, listed in alphabetical order, any allergens or sensitisers will also be listed here, along with any other information relevant to the sprays. So please check out this page before you order if you have any allergies or sensitivities. 

New Packaging

There is also a section on how to use the sprays there, which means we no longer need to send unnecessary leaflets with each order.  We are doing our best to do our bit to help the planet and get rid of any unnecessary packaging.  We have recently stopped using bubble wrap to protect and pack the sprays and are now using only cardboard boxes, brown paper and eco friendly packing peanuts (made of potato starch).  If you do get bubble wrap etc. in your packaging it's only because we are recycling and reusing it.  

Covid Delays

 There are still delays all over the world due to the challenges of Covid.  There are many reasons for this, less flights than normal, staffing shortages for obvious reasons, backlogs at customs points around the world.  Things are particularly slow in the EU because on 1st July they brought in new regulations for dealing with VAT and import taxes.  Where previously any item under a value of 22 euros was exempt, this is no longer the case which has only added to the backlog already caused by Covid and Brexit.  There are plans in place to streamline all of this and make it much easier on customers and businesses alike but this will take time to implement fully.  

Every day I hear from customers asking why their order is taking so long, is it lost?  The tracking may be showing that it's still in the UK, or perhaps it has reached the destination country but then hasn't moved for a couple of weeks.  All this is perfectly normal at this time.  We are finding that parcels are often not scanned as often as they should be so a parcel could be shown as still awaiting a flight out of the UK but in fact it has already arrived with the customer.  Tracking information is unfortunately not reliable at the moment.  

A good portion of the problems are in the US and one part in particular.  There are a few international sorting centres (ISCs) where international mail goes on arrival in the US and the one that causes the most problems is in Chicago!  It can be like a black hole and parcels can disappear for weeks in there.  These centres are where mail is processed through customs and then distributed on to local post offices.  If your tracking shows that your order is here - it will say ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) - you can contact them to get things moving.  Use this link: https://missingmail.usps.com/ (it should work for ISCs in other destinations too) and complete the online query form there. It seems to work really well and we'd like to say a big thank you to Kathleen for testing out and sending us this information.  

International orders can take up to 4 weeks to get to you and sometimes even longer but they do usually turn up.  We haven't had any that have disappeared without trace. Either they make their way back to us because they haven't been collected in time or the shipping address is wrong etc but they do turn up eventually. So allow at least 4 weeks, Australia and NZ can take even longer than that. Obviously if you are in the UK it's a bit different. We use a 48 hour tracked service here so if you haven't received your order in 5 days you should contact us and we can check on it for you.  

If you do need to contact us about an order for any reason it is very helpful if you include your order number!

I think everyone is aware by now that the international weight limit for parcels is 2 kilos which is 13 sprays.  If you order other items, say oracle cards, incense burners etc. obviously there is less room for sprays.  If you try to check out and get the message that there are no shipping options to your location it simply means your order is too heavy, just take some things out and try again. 

We have recently changed this message to read "your order exceeds the 2 kilo weight limit"  in an effort to avoid confusion. However, if you have ordered from us before, some of your information will have been saved, apparently this is what "cookies" do, they save bits of information so you have an easier checkout experience next time.  But it means you won't get the new message unless you clear these old cookies by clearing your "cache".  But don't make the mistake I did and clear you cache totally as you will lose all your saved favourites, passwords, log in details for your most used sites etc, any saved payment details and so on, everything! There is a way to do it without losing all that (so Brooke tells me now!) but ask someone to help you if you aren't sure what you are doing.
